This Saturday, August 12, 2017, Javier, Kelsey and Maya will all be competing in kickboxing bouts at the Edmond's Community College. Tickets are available at Charlie's Combat Club or www.axfighting.com.
3 C3 fighters represented our style of fighting this weekend at the Combat Games "Point Break" show at the Point Casino in Kingston, WA. Ryan was defeating his opponent easily in his kickboxing fight until his opponent decided to foul him over and over again and finally got DQ'd. Ryan won by DQ.
Josiah lost his fight by decision, but showed great heart and overcame a knockdown in the first round and tried to rally but wasn't able to score enough to earn the come from behind victory. Josiah lost by dec.
Undefeated C3 Professional fighter Brandon Todd added another win to his record making short work of his opponent by finishing his foe in the 1st rd by RNC.
It took C3 fighter Tycen "Shin To Chin" Lynn just :41 seconds to win his fight at the Ainofea Kauai Cage Fight this last Saturday. Tycen landed a few strikes before he was taken down where he quickly transitioned into a "Dead Orchard" variant to get the tap. Here is Tycen with the promoter Vance after his win:

C3's very own Miranda "Danger" Granger is now part of the #EssentiaNation - overachievers who excel in their professions and passions, and want to be the best version of themselves through better hydration. Here is a great write up they did on her:
"When fighting is in your blood, you start early. For Miranda “Danger” Granger, training began at the age of four, receiving a black belt in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 12, before switching over to kick-boxing. Granger says that “getting to that point of mental/physical exhaustion almost every day, and having to push through that,” is the beginning, but wanting to “constantly be the best, because there’s always someone there to outbeat you or outdo you,” is what drives the competitive spirit.
Two years ago Granger won her first kickboxing fight by TKO, now competing in both kickboxing and MMA, Granger is the reigning AXFC World Kickboxing title holder. May 2017, she turned pro, but what is Miranda’s ultimate goal in life? Fighting is helping her discover her passion. “I just want to travel. I feel like if I could travel the world doing something I love that’s what a lot of people want in life, and if it involves me getting beat up a little bit and beating other people up a little bit, that’s what’s going to get me there.”

Essentia Featured Athlete, Miranda Granger
Tycen fights this Saturday in Kauai Hawaii at the Garden Island Cage Match #17. It will be his 5th Professional fight, He has trained hard and we are confident he will do great. This will be just two weeks after his win 2 weeks ago! Go Tycen!
We are so proud of Maya, Blake and Ryan on their amazing performances at Ax Fighting. Blake and Maya both fought their 1st kickboxing matches and earned the nod from the judges. Ryan scored a 2nd round KO! nice job guys!
Charlie's Combat Club fighters go undefeated at the Rumble at the Ridge. Bruce improved his amateur MMA record to 2-0 with a 2nd round TKO. Chris "Bad Apple" Vasil improves his professional record to 2-0 with a unanimous decision win. Tycen "Shin to Chin" Lynn returns to the winning column with a 2nd round Rear Naked Choke in the 2nd round of his 4th professional fight. We are proud of our warriors!
